Unlock for Moto E4/E5/Z2 locked with "Invalid SIM" lock
  1. Select required phone model from the right drop-down list
  2. Go to "Unlock" tab
  3. Set the phone to the special mode:
    • Turn the phone OFF
    • Press Vol -, Power ON, then release Power ON button
    • Select BP Tools in the appeared menu, then confirm selection with Vol+ button
  4. Connect the phone to PC using USB cable
  5. Install required USB Driver and this driver (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
  6. Select QC Diag port in the ports selection tab
  7. Press "Unlock" button
  8. The message "Done" indicates that the procedure has been completed successfully
  9. Wait for the message "Restarting phone... Done" to appear in the dialog window; only after that you can turn off the phone

Important: This solution works for models of Sprint operator with IMEI that starts from 99...

Unlock Code Reading

  1. Select required phone model from the drop-down list on the right
  2. Go to "Unlock" tab
  3. Set the phone to the special mode:
    • Turn the phone OFF
    • Press and hold Vol - button, then connect the phone to PC with the USB cable
    • Select BP Tools in the appeared menu, then confirm selection pressing power ON button
  4. Install required USB Driver and this driver (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
  5. Select QC Diag port in the ports selection tab
  6. Press "Get unlock codes" button and follow the software commands
  7. Message "Done" indicates that the code has been read successfully

Device Unlocking

  1. Turn the phone on with the non-original SIM card inserted
  2. Phone's menu will pop-up with the unlock code request
  3. Enter the code that was read by the Software. Phone is unlocked
Direct unlock for Moto G/G2/G3/E/E2/X2/X Play
  1. Select "Qualcomm" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
  2. Go to "Unlock" tab
  3. Set the phone to the special mode:
    1. Turn the phone OFF
    2. Press Vol -, Power ON, then release Power ON button
    3. Select BP Tools in the appeared menu, then confirm selection with Vol+ button
  4. Connect the phone to PC using USB cable

  2. Go to "IMEI" tab
  3. Set the phone to the special mode:
    1. Turn the phone OFF
    2. Press Vol -, Power ON, then release Power ON button
    3. Select BP Tools in the appeared menu, then confirm selection with Vol+ button
  4. Connect the phone to PC using USB cable
  5. Install required USB Driver and this driver (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
  6. Select QC Diag port in the ports selection tab
  7. Enter IMEI number in the "Phone IMEI" field
  8. Press "Restore IMEI" button
  9. The message "Done" indicates that the procedure has been completed successfully
  10. Wait for the message "Restarting phone... Done" to appear in the dialog window; only after that you can turn off the phone

Double SIM devices: Repair IMEI works for 1st IMEI only.

Solution for: "This baseband version is not supported. Try downgrading it"

If the software reports the following message: "This baseband version is not supported. Try downgrading it." while you're working with Moto devices, please do so using this software.

Warning:

  • Before you begin, we strongly recommend that you create a backup of your current modem software version. For that purpose, please, do the  following: in your mobile phone's menu go to Setting -> About phone -> and write a copy of "Baseband version" for yourself.
  • Disclaimer: Please get informed that you perform modem downgrade procedure at your own risk. We do not bear responsibility for any damage to your phone caused by this procedure. If you're not sure of what you're doing, just don't do it.

The procedure of downgrade:

  1. This procedure doesn’t require root or bootloader unlock
  2. Install Motorola driver installer
  3. Download modem file for you phone model (visit www.boot-loader.com - go to Sigma section - Motorola - Modem files - select Your phone model)
  4. Connect your phone to PC in Fastboot mode (by pressing Power OFF, Vol- PowerOn buttons)
  5. Open the software, go to Qcom tab -> Service bookmark
  6. Select ADB interface in the ports selection tab
  7. Press “Downgrade Motorola modem” button.
  8. Select the required file in SKF format and wait for the procedure to finish

After all the above mentioned steps have been completed, you may proceed with unlock/repair operations using this software.

How to restore your phone to factory state (after baseband downgrade):

After service procedure has been completed successfully you may flash full firmware (the same version that the phone has) and your phone's setting will be restored. Please note that your IMEI or Lock status remains unchanged.

How to install Moto QC Diag driver on WIN7
Remove FRP

STEP 1 (Connect):

  1. Open "Android ADB" platform in the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
  2. Open "Qualcomm" bookmark
  3. Set the phone to the FACTORY MODE:
    • Turn the phone OFF
    • Press Vol -, Vol+, Power ON simultaneously, then release Power ON button
    • Select FACTORY MODE in the appeared menu, then confirm your selection
    • Wait for the phone to fully power ON
  4. Connect the phone to PC using USB cable
  5. Install required USB Driver and this driver (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
  6. Press "Connect Motorola Android phone"
  7. Wait for the operation to complete and disconnect the phone

STEP 2 (Reset FRP):

  1. Set the phone to the FACTORY MODE:
    • Turn the phone OFF
    • Press Vol -, Vol+, Power ON simultaneously, then release Power ON button
    • Select FACTORY MODE in the appeared menu, then confirm your selection
    • Wait for the phone to fully power ON and connect it to PC
  2. Select "Adb interface" in the port selection tab
  3. Press "Remove FRP" button
  4. Message "Done" indicates that the procedure has been completed successfully
  5. Restart the phone

We recommend performing master reset from the phone’s menu after completing the remove FRP operation.

Reminder! Before servicing the phone, please make sure that:

  1. You use the latest version of the software
  2. Battery must be connected to the phone's board and fully charged. Especially while performing operations using testpoint.
  3. All the side programs, that may interfere with the phone, are closed
  4. Phone’s cable and device itself should not be disconnected or disturbed until the procedure is fully completed
  5. Connect phone to USB port placed on the backside of PC (motherboard's USB port)
    Do not connect or disconnect other USB cables into the PC during the actual work with the phone
  6. Avoid using any kind of USB HUBs and long USB cables. Use the shortest-length USB cable available.
  7. Phone has stock (factory) firmware version
  8. SIM card is removed
