Code Calculation Manual
  • Go to "Calculator" tab
  • Choose desired model from the list
  • Alcatel models:
    • Way 1: Choose Provider ID from the list. In most cases, "Provider ID" of your phone can be found at the sticker under the battery. In case providers ID is not specified on the sticker under the battery, try to find it on the phone's package - it should be mentioned there.
    • Way 2: If Provider ID is unknown, you can select Security file version. How to do that:
      • Dial *#837# or use another combination: *#3228#
      • Find the line that starts with *XZ - Security file version
      • Choose that security file version in the software
    • Way 3: Dial #2886# and select MANUAL/TRACEABILITY. Then find your PID
  • Motorola WX-series models:
      • Dial *#837#
      • Find the line that starts with *X - Security file version
      • Choose that security file version in the software
  • Enter phone's IMEI number (type in just numbers, without additional symbols / dashes). If you want to enter IMEI with an incorrect checksum, please, go to the Service tab and check "Wrong IMEI checksum" field.
  • Click "Calculate" button and wait for calculation procedure to start *
  • Codes are calculated

If the phone doesn't accept unlock code:
* Calculated code might not be accepted if any changes were made to the original firmware (changed provider ID, unlock operation was performed, etc.). In this case you should use "Get unlock codes" procedure to generate correct unlock code.


If read and calculated codes match, but not working:
If read with "Get unlock codes" and "Calculate unlock codes" procedure codes match but not working, just read phone's backup and send it with the log file and calculated code to [email protected] for a detailed analysis.


Free distribution of unlock codes calculated by the Software is strictly prohibited! Violation of this policy will result in your card being blocked.

How to enter codes
  1. Turn the phone on with non-original SIM card inserted
  2. Phone's menu will pop-up with unlock code request
  3. Enter a code that was read by the Software

If the phone doesn't show the menu with the unlock code request:

  1. Dial *#*#3646633#*#*
    • For M4tel models: type *#45362718090#* on the phone and phone's menu will pop-up with unlock code request
  2. Go to menu Telephony -> Simme lock
  3. Enter required code

The phone may not accept unlock code if the wrong unlock code was entered too many times and Wrong Code Counter is filled. In this case try performing "Master reset" operation and then enter the code again.

Reminder! Before servicing the phone, please make sure that:

  1. You use the latest version of the software
  2. Battery must be connected to the phone's board and fully charged. Especially while performing operations using testpoint.
  3. All the side programs, that may interfere with the phone, are closed
  4. Phone’s cable and device itself should not be disconnected or disturbed until the procedure is fully completed
  5. Phone's connection:
    • Via USB: connect phone to USB port placed on the backside of PC (motherboard's USB port)
      Do not connect or disconnect other USB cables into the PC during the actual work with the phone
    • Via COM: use recommended Prolific / FTDI drivers only
  6. Avoid using any kind of USB HUBs and long USB cables. Use the shortest-length USB cable available.
  7. Phone has stock (factory) firmware version
  8. SIM card is removed
