How to install Exynos USB Booting (EUB) driver
  1. Download and install the latest version of Zadig from the official website: zadig.akeo.ie
  2. Locate your device in the dropdown menu. It should display as a device with VID_04E8 and either PID_1234 or PID_1100.
  3. Choose the WinUSB Driver.
  4. Click the Install Driver or Replace Driver button.
Software Testpoint for Exynos devices (Without disassembling the phone)

General drivers for Samsung devices

This feature allows setting the device to EUB mode (Exynos USB Booting mode) without disassembling the phone, and without connecting hardware testpoint to it. No need to search for the schematics of testpoints.

This service option supports devices powered by Exynos 9820, 9825, 9610, and 990 processors.

Setting the phone to EUB mode:

  1. Select "Exynos" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software.
  2. Go to the "Service" bookmark.
  3. Select phone model from the list (if it is not there, you can try similar models based on the same processor for EUB mode).
  4. Connect the phone to PC using USB cable in download mode:
    • Power the phone off
    • In most cases, Press and hold vol+Vol- buttons and insert the usb cable to the phone
    • Confirm entering the download mode in the phone’s menu
  5. Select the corresponding "SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem" port.
  6. Press "Software Testpoint ON.../OFF" button.
  7. The device should now enter EUB mode.

Now you are free to run different service operations, like Remove FRP or Read/Write operations, etc.

Returning the phone to Normal Mode

After completing all service operations, you need to set the testpoint OFF. This operation revives the phone from EUB mode and the device powers On normally.

  1. Select "Exynos" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software.
  2. Go to the "Service" bookmark.
  3. Select phone model from the list.
  4. Select the "Connect the phone in EUB mode..." port.
  5. Press "Software Testpoint ON.../OFF" button.
  6. Please power the phone ON manually after finishing the service operation.

You perform this operation at your own risk.

Hardware Testpoint for Exynos devices (Requires disassembling)
  1. Disassemble the phone and prepare for the connection with the TP schematics.
  2. Reconnect the battery connector.
  3. Short the TP pins according to the testpoint schematic.
  4. Connect phone to PC using USB cable.
  5. In some cases, you need to press and hold the phone’s power On button while connecting the TP.

FRP Remove on Samsung Exynos devices

General drivers for Samsung devices

Procedure:

  1. Select "Exynos" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software.
  2. Go to the "Service" tab.
  3. Select the required phone model from drop-down list.
  4. Enter the EUB mode (Exynos USB Booting mode) using Software Testpoint* or Hardware Testpoint methods.
  5. Select the corresponding "SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem" port.
  6. Press "Remove FRP" button.
  7. The message "Removing FRP… Done" indicates that procedure has been completed successfully.
  8. Please power the phone ON manually after finishing the service operation.

*If the service operation was performed using Software TP, don’t forget to perform Software Testpoint OFF operation.

If you connect the phone in download mode, select "SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem" port. Sigma will automatically perform SW TP on, Remove FRP, SW TP off. This works depending on the processors that support the software TP option.

Read / write backup

General drivers for Samsung devices

  1. Select "Exynos" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software.
  2. Go to the "Flash" bookmark.
  3. Select the required phone model from drop-down list.
  4. Enter the EUB mode (Exynos USB Booting mode) using Software Testpoint or Hardware Testpoint methods.
  5. Select the corresponding "SAMSUNG Mobile USB Modem" port.
  6. Press "Read firmware" button.
  7. Files will be saved in the folder in the open format.
  8. It is possible to restore the phone’s backup by selecting the folder with the backup file. We do not recommend restoring backup after phone’s upgrading to high firmware versions.
  9. The message "Reading / Writing flash ...OK" indicates that procedure has been completed successfully.
  10. Please power the phone ON manually after finishing the service operation.

Backup of Partitions:
You can choose which logical partitions to back up. Sigma Plus displays a window with tabs, where each tab corresponds to a physical partition/LUN, and you can add or remove a "+" there. The Select All/Deselect All buttons allow you to select or deselect all partitions on a tab.

Flashing and Erasing Partitions.
The same applies during flashing. If you select a partition and press the "Format FFS" button, that partition will be marked with "!" (indicating it will be erased). Caution: Use this feature carefully.

FRP Remove (2021 sec. versions and older)
  1. Seleccione "Exynos"en la parte izquierda superior del software
  2. Abra la pestaña “Service”
  3. Encienda el teléfono
  4. Pulse "llamada de emergencia" y marque la combinación *#0*#
  5. Conecte el teléfono al PC con el cable USB
  6. Seleccione el puerto Samsung Modem - instale los drivers, si es necesario
  7. Clique en “Remove FRP”
  8. En este punto debería aparecer el dispositivo ADB. Pulse OK en el mensaje "permitir la depuración USB" en la pantalla del teléfono
  9. Después de completar la operación de eliminación de FRP, realice una operación de " Master reset " desde el menú del teléfono.

¡Advertencia! Antes de empezar a trabajar con el celular asegúrese de lo siguiente:

  1. Usted está usando la versión más reciente del software
  2. Batería debe estar conectada a la placa del teléfono y completamente cargada. Sobre todo durante las operaciones mediante testpoint.
  3. Están cerrados todos los programas que pueden trabajar paralelamente con el celular
  4. No se permite desconectar el teléfono o el cable del ordenador durante todo el proceso hasta completarlo
    Además, tampoco se recomienda mover el teléfono durante toda la operación
  5. Conecte el teléfono al puerto USB, ubicado en la parte trasera del ordenador (puerto USB de la placa madre)
    Evite conectar/desconectar otros cables USB mientras realiza operaciones con el teléfono
  6. No es recomendable usar ningunos USB hubs ni cables USB largos. Use cuanto más corto USB cable.
  7. El teléfono tiene la versión original de firmware (de fábrica)
  8. Asegúrese que haya sacado la tarjeta SIM
