What is SigmaKey?
Basically, SigmaKey is Sigma without activation packages. You only buy it once without having to pay extra every year or getting server credits. You can add up activation packages later on. At first sight, it may seem that you get a regular dongle but don’t underestimate it because it’s a powerful tool that can go above and beyond.
Can I use it without Activation Packs?

Work with Provider Lock
Codes Calculation by IMEI/PID/SecFile
You can get the smartphone code remotely. Just enter the IMEI code and Sigma will calculate the code. This option is available to users without limitations.
Decode
Thanks to a direct decode, you can save a lot of time by servicing entire batches of smartphones. Connect a smartphone, make a click – and the smartphone is decoded!
Wrong Code Counter Reset
It may happen that the customer has entered the wrong code too many times, their device got locked up and no longer allows them to re-enter the code. No problem! Thanks to Sigma, you can reset the code input counter without an effort.
Get Codes
This option is a must if you need to decode the device by reading the lock code. Sigma reads the code immediately from the smartphone. All you need to do is enter the generated code into the smartphone to decode it.
Heuristic Method of Decoding
This option enables you to service devices even with the latest or unidentified firmware versions.
Work with User Lock
Read User Code
Sigma will help you easily read a forgotten or lost lock code and continue using your mobile connection.
Format FFS
Another option is just deleting user data to get a completely “clean” device.

Export Phone Book
This is a convenient feature in case the customer has a long-running phone book and wants to lose none of their contacts. Sigma will help you to copy your phone book even from a software-damaged or physically broken device.
Firmware
Flash
Sigma enables you to upgrade smartphone firmware using a large set of firmware from a proprietary archive at boot-loader.com. Different service provider firmware, firmware for various regions, and language localizations are available.
Backup
If you need to generate a full backup of your smartphone’s firmware, including user data, Sigma will be up to the challenge. A firmware backup is necessary if you experiment with different software on your smartphone, for example, downgrading a firmware version. In case of a failed experiment, you will be able to revert to the old version.
Software Repair
Repair IMEI
Each smartphone is unique and has a special IMEI code assigned to it. If your smartphone’s IMEI is corrupt, it may make phone calls unavailable. Sigma will fix this for you.
Repair Security Area

Bypass Boot Authorization (Disable Security)
This option enables you to bypass the bootloader security area of smartphones running on the latest MTK processors MT65XX/MT67XX/MT68XX/MT8XXX.
Work with Bootloader
Sometimes you need a code to obtain in-depth professional access to your smartphone. Sigma enables you to read or decode the bootloader’s code to gain full control of smartphone data. What’s the point? Well, it will help you to get root rights or write custom firmware.
Root and Unroot the Device (Normal Mode or Via CWM/TWRP)
This feature enables you to gain root rights on smartphones with earlier versions of the Android OS.
Enable Diagnostic Port
This feature allows you to activate the diagnostic interface on Qualcomm-based devices disabled by the developer by default. This interface is required to service smartphones.
