Motorola Android Smartphones
Unlock
- Turn the phone on and wait for it to fully start up
- Connect the phone to PC with USB cable
- Ensure that the phone is not connected in USB mass storage mode
- Install Motorola drivers (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
- Select "Qualcomm" platform from the tab menu in the upper left side of the software
- "Phone model" dropdown box has to be set to "Autodetect"
- Go to "Unlock" tab
- Press "Connect Motorola Android phone"
- Select "Motorola USB Diagnostic Port" in the ports selection tab
- Press "Unlock" button
- Message "Unlocking phone… Done" indicates that procedure was completed successfully
- Wait for the message "Restarting phone... Done" to appear in the dialog window; only after that you can turn the phone off
Note: You should run the Software as Administrator in order to work with Motorola Android smartphones.
* In case of unknown firmware version detection, the software will suggest unlocking the phone using the heuristic method. In the end of heuristic unlock mode procedure, please send the log file to support.

- Disconnect the handset
How to enter codes:
- Turn the phone on with non-original SIM card inserted
- Phone's menu will pop-up with unlock code request
- Enter a code that was read by the Software
Note: You should run the Software as Administrator in order to work with Motorola Android smartphones.
- Install Motorola drivers (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
- Turn the device Off
- Press Vol+ and Vol- simultaneously, while holding these buttons press Power On and wait until it fully starts up

- Turn the phone OFF
- Press Vol + , Camera, Power ON, then insert USB cable into the phone
- Install required USB Driver (only if the phone is connected for the first time)
- Select USB Modem port in the ports selection tab
- Press "Unlock" button
- Wait for the message "Restarting phone... Done" to appear in the dialog window; only after that you can disconnect the phone
Heuristic method of unlocking is supported for this group of models.
Wrong Code Counter resets automatically during the direct unlock procedure.
Repair
- Turn the phone on and wait for it to fully start up

Reminder! Before servicing the phone, please make sure that:
- You use the latest version of the software
- Battery must be connected to the phone's board and fully charged. Especially while performing operations using testpoint.
- All the side programs, that may interfere with the phone, are closed
- Phone’s cable and device itself should not be disconnected or disturbed until the procedure is fully completed
- Connect phone to USB port placed on the backside of PC (motherboard's USB port)
Do not connect or disconnect other USB cables into the PC during the actual work with the phone - Avoid using any kind of USB HUBs and long USB cables. Use the shortest-length USB cable available.
- Phone has stock (factory) firmware version
- SIM card is removed
